316 stainless steel:

316L stainless steel (low carbon) :
As a low carbon series of steel 316, it has excellent resistance to grain boundary corrosion except for the same properties as steel 316.
Scope of application: products with special requirements against grain boundary corrosion.

316 and 316L stainless steel:
Stainless steels 316 and 316L are molybdenum stainless steels.
The molybdenum content of 316L stainless steel is slightly higher than that of 316 stainless steel. Due to the molybdenum content of steel, the overall performance of this steel is better than that of 310 and 304 stainless steel.
Stainless steel 316 also has good chloride erosion properties, so it is commonly used in Marine environments.
The maximum carbon content of 316L stainless steel is 0.03, which can be used in applications that cannot be annealed after welding and need maximum corrosion resistance.
