In-depth cooperation between Southern China Gold Environmental Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu University has conducted in-depth research on the hydraulic design and manufacturing process of high-efficiency stamping pumps, and finally developed a series of stainless steel stamping pumps. Using the hydraulic design method based on the three-dimensional viscous flow theory, according to the flow parameter distribution and flow structure characteristics in the flow field of the pump, the geometric parameters of the flow components are optimized to improve the operation efficiency of the pump. The impeller and guide vane of this series of pumps are manufactured by stainless steel stamping and welding method, with high manufacturing precision, smooth material surface and saving material. The advanced welding technology adopted ensures the structural stability of the impeller and guide vane.

With the strong support and encouragement of the leaders of Southern China International Capital Corporation and the leaders of Jiangsu University, the project progressed smoothly and was completed on schedule with remarkable results. The project team has formed 37 patents on the structure, sealing, motor and processing methods of stainless steel stamping pumps, including 10 invention patents, 23 utility model patents, 5 appearance patents, 1 monograph on stamping pumps, and several papers.

The product of the project has been tested by Zhejiang Mechanical and Electrical Products Quality Inspection Institute, and its performance indicators have reached the optimal requirements stipulated by national standards and industry standards, and the energy efficiency indicators have reached the optimal value of the EU “Requirements for Ecological Design of Water Pumps” regulations (MEI≥0.7). The products are widely used in the fields of construction, municipal administration, food, air conditioning, pharmaceuticals, etc., with excellent performance, reliable and stable operation, and the first domestic market share in the past five years, with significant economic and social benefits. From 2016 to 2018, the market share of multi-stage clean water centrifugal pump products ranked No. 2 in the world and No. 1 in China.
