Hongwang Group holds patents of the coil finishing technology of brushed, 8K, Ti-Black, Ti-Gold, PVD coating and AFP. Comparing with the traditional single sheet finishing technology, coil finishing has the advantage of high efficiency, stable quality and lower production cost. The large-scale production has become the solution of the two most intractable issues: color difference and low efficiency of single sheet processing. Coil finishing technology greatly improved color stability and quality controllability.
For stainless steel colored coil products, we have colored stainless steel coil and colored stainless steel sheet. Colored stainless steel coils and colored stainless steel plates have different focuses in their applications. When choosing, you need to consider the specific scene requirements, processing methods and performance requirements comprehensively.
Colored Stainless Steel Coils
1.Large-Scale Continuous Processing Needs
Suitable for scenarios requiring extended lengths and seamless splicing, such as building curtain walls, roofs, and industrial equipment enclosures. The coil format minimizes seams and enhances structural integrity. Ideal for automated production lines, including mass manufacturing of standardized components like elevator panels and automotive parts.
2.Industrial & Functional Applications
Solar collectors (black stainless steel coils offer 91–93% heat absorption), household appliance exteriors (e.g., refrigerators, air conditioners), and applications requiring cutting/stamping. In high-corrosion environments (e.g., chemical storage tanks), the coils facilitate easy rolling and continuous coating.
3.Cost Efficiency
Coils offer lower unit costs, making them ideal for large-scale projects with budget constraints. However, protective film quality must be ensured to prevent adhesive residue.
Colored Stainless Steel Plates
1.Decorative & Artistic Applications
Interior decor (walls, ceilings, art screens), commercial spaces (hotels, clubs), and other applications requiring textured finishes (brushed, mirrored) or color variants (rose gold, black titanium).
2.Precision Processing for Small Areas
Bathroom fixtures (cabinets, washbasins), kitchen equipment (sinks, range hoods), and other moisture-resistant products requiring precise dimensions.
Basic Surface Treatment of Decorative Ss Coil And Sheet
After multiple grinding and polishing processes, the surface of the stainless steel plate achieves a mirror-like effect with extremely high gloss and reflectivity. This treatment method has high requirements for the process and can highlight the metal texture and high-end quality of the stainless steel plate.
Use grinding tools such as sand belts and wire brushes to perform directional friction on the surface of the stainless steel plate to form a continuous texture with a certain direction. Depending on the grinding tools and processes, it can be divided into a variety of effects such as straight wire patterns and random wire patterns. Brushed treatment can cover up minor scratches and flaws on the surface, increase the texture and friction of the surface, and reduce the adhesion of fingerprints and stains, making the stainless steel plate easier to clean and maintain.
Use compressed air to spray sand particles at high speed onto the surface of the stainless steel plate to form a uniform rough surface effect on the surface. The surface of the stainless steel plate after sandblasting presents a matte texture, which has a unique decorative effect, while increasing the surface roughness and improving the adhesion with coatings, adhesives, etc. Different types of sand and spraying pressure can produce sandblasting effects of different coarseness and fineness.
